The East African Community (EAC) Secretariat is inviting users across the Partner States to participate in the ongoing User Satisfaction Survey on EAC Regional Statistics. Conducted under the Eastern Africa Regional Statistics Program for Results (EARSPforR), the survey gives users a direct opportunity to influence how regional statistics are produced, communicated, accessed and used.

The survey seeks feedback on the quality, relevance, reliability, timeliness, accessibility and usefulness of EAC regional statistics. It also examines users’ experiences with EAC statistical publications, services and dissemination platforms, including challenges that may limit access to or effective use of regional data.

Strengthening User-Centred Regional Statistics

The findings will help the EAC Secretariat identify what is working, where users face difficulties and which improvements should be prioritised. This evidence will guide more responsive statistical products, stronger dissemination and communication, and easier access to regional data for policy, planning, research, business, public accountability and informed debate.

Who Should Participate

The EAC encourages participation by government institutions, National Statistics Offices, central banks, other institutions within National Statistical Systems, regional organisations, the private sector, academia and research institutions, development partners, civil society, the media, independent researchers and other users of EAC regional statistics.

Participation is voluntary, and all responses will be treated confidentially. Respondents are encouraged to provide open and candid feedback so that the survey presents an accurate picture of users’ experiences and priorities.

Take the Survey

All users of EAC regional statistics are encouraged to complete the online questionnaire. Broad participation will help ensure that future improvements reflect the needs of the region’s diverse data users.
